Mr C
Dear Mr Miranda
I feel I must write and express my sincere thank for the excellent outcome of the operation you carried out on my right hand on 30/10/2010. In your absence I was seen in your clinic yesterday by Dr Monica, I won’t attempt the surname! Who was very pleased with everything and therefore discharged me. Soon afterwards I was seen by the rehab staff who were so pleased with my progress, they also discharged me. My reach on the piano is almost as good as it was several years ago before I was troubled with arthritic joint and Dupuytren’s contracture. I have played every day since the stitches were removed and I thoroughly enjoy my relaxing house at the piano. After the thumb operation in January 2010, I was a little disappointed with the very small amount of increase in my span and I can remember you pointing and saying “ only him can make new hands”. I am now of the opinion that you must make him a very close second! Many thanks for all the treatment I have had from you and all the other staff at James Cook, I am most grateful.
